This is just an easy shrimp recipe I found and its yummy with rice.
1/3 cup butter
1 1/2 to 2 lb large shrimp
4 to 6 medium garlic cloves (crushed and minced)
1/3 cup chopped parsley (I just sprinkled dry parsley)
2 to 3 Tb lemon juice
In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat until butter stops foaming, about 30 to 45 seconds (I never saw a difference?)
Add shrimp and garlic
Saute over medium heat, turning frequently until just pink, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Add parsley, lemon juice, and salt to taste
Stir well and remove from pan.
Serves 4.

were you using margarine? i think butter might act differently. is this similar to shrimp scampi? do you serve it over rice or just on the side?
yeah, i forget there's a difference. i used margarine. but its been turning out fine i guess. i thought it would be more like shrimp scampi, but its basically just like eating plain shrimp with a little bit of garlic flavor. i put it on rice. theres not juice though, so its a little plain. i might start incorporating veggies, so its more like a stir fry.
